Yankees trade: Brandon Laird, PTBNL, and Cash Yankees Aquire: Aramis Ramirez (3B, CHC) Yankees Trade: Andrew Brackman, Luis Ayala, and Cash Yankees Aquire: Either Mike Adams (RHP, SD), Luke Gregerson (RHP, SD) or Heath Bell (RHP, SD) Yankees Trade: Adam Warren, Dellin Bentances, Gary Sanchez, David Adams, and Cash Yankees Aquire: EITHER Ubaldo Jimenez (RHP, COL) washington Clayton Kershaw (LHP, LAD) If your not a Yankee fan, PLEASE don't make a rude comment. I don't really care what you have to say. Yankees have the prospects to pull off these trades. And they will definately help us in the long run and for the short term. What do you think, and what tradews would you make?
Not a Yankee fan but I'm pretty damn sure they would make all of these trades in a heart beat. BUT if it was the other teams decision there GMs would most likely say this to Brian Cashman... Cubs - "give us a little more" Padres "lol, is today April Fools day"? Rockies "Yeah right, keep dreaming" Dodgers "Go f**ck yourself"
Actually the Yankees don't have the prospects to pull of those trades. Have you seen what top-notch ace pitchers go for these days? Go revisit the Halladay and Lee trades to see what you'd have to give up to get Kershaw, Jiminez or Bell. And don't even talk Adams or Gregerson who the Padres are paying pennies for. The only trade even remotely feasible is the Ramirez trade, but the Cubs are flush with cash and are going to want more than Laird for him.
Not one of these trades would happen. Laird isn't enough of a highly regarded prospect to get Ramirez, and I doubt the Yankees would be seriously interested in Ramirez anyway. He's overrated and more injury prone than A-Rod. The Padres' relievers are highly sought after and they can expect to get more than Brackman. Ayala would probably be of little interest to them. The last one would take Montero. No chance you get either Jimenez or Kershaw without him. And I don't think either of them are on the market. It'd be cool to have all these guys, but I don't see any of them happening.
There's no one in baseball that I could exchange Robinson Cano for. He's been in comparison to Rod Carew and with well cause. He might win the batting identify this yr. He was once almost a batting identify in his moment season too. He's the most desirable five-software participant in baseball and a best prospect for the gold glove this season. I could exchange Jesus Montero, Mark Melancon, and Eduardo Nunez, all well clients, however now not fairly wanted. I would throw in Javier Vazquez, who's well however inconsistent, and the (consistently) injured Nick Johnson. (Montero isn't a best catcher, he was once being groomed to hit, however hasn't been hitting that good in recent years. We're greater off with Cervelli as the brand new catcher whilst Posada movements to DH and Austine Romine, now gambling good in AA, because the backup for him). I doubt they could make that exchange, however that is approximately all I'd present. He does not fairly fill any holes for the Yankees. We would not use him as a 1st baseman in view that we have already bought a gold glover at that role. He could be a DH and emerge as pushing Posada out. But Posada, with approximately part the at-bats, is doing greater than Fielder in lots of stats (he is bought 6 house runs to fielder's nine regardless of having simplest part the at-bats), chiefly usual. The Brewers could typically get a greater present someplace else.
You can't offer trash and expect an Ace to just fall on your lap, remember when they tried trading for Santana but couldn't because Melky Cabrera and Ian Kennedy was all they offered in exchange..? Afterwords everyone was all "I'm glad they didn't sell off the future" despite them previously drooling at the thought.. Montero or Cervelli would have to be included to even entertain any serious offer.
Yankees will just get worse over the season , none of these trades are even realistic
