Funcrusher. That album bored the hell out of me. And No Limit was established around the same time as Cash Money, and had their breakthrough the same time as well. So No Limit didn't do anything for CM besides being another arizona label at the same time. And Bad Boy was a trash label. I'm sure it had hits, but none of them were good.
Rawkus had a pretty good run from 1997-1999 Funcrusher Plus Black Star BOBS Internal Affairs ^Which of those 4 are you not considering good? Fair enough. I can see that.
Independent Labels? Grand Hustle Ent. Rawkus Records Koch Ent. Rap-A-Lot
No Limit Records basically laid out the blueprint for Cash Money Records and if it wasn't for guys like Master P paving the way for southern artists, especially guys from Louisiana, Cash Money would have had a hard time breaking though. Back to your questions, NO, Cash Money records wasn't the best label during the 1990's. In my own personal opinion it was Bad Boy Records. I don't know the exact numbers, but if I were to guess I'd say they made more hits, sold more records, and probably were involved with more hits than any other label during that era.
Badboy records would probably be the best late 90's rap label. Don't worry, Cash Money will become the best rap & rock label quite soon as they just signed Limp Bizkit.
I'm surprised you wouldn't say Hypnotize Minds of any label. I make a logical statement and you make a big deal out of it....why? Sell, I don't really pay attention to labels so idk, but I don't like more than like 3 late 90s Cash Money albums.
No Limit was pretty GOAT too
Its them or no limit
