A relative of mine (well, ex inlaw actually) sent me a check written on their local credit union account. Small, local only, no Bank of America or anything. There are no branches in my town and the closest one is six hours away. I cannot use my own bank account to cash this check (overdrawn again!) and I really need this money. The check cashing places say they cannot cash 2 party checks. Does anyone know how to get this check cashed? The only think I can think of is going to a new bank and opening a new account entirely which would be a real pain. Asking this person to send cash or paypal or a different check is not an option. Am I missing some obvious solution here?
Ask a friend, boyfriend, or relative to cash it for you. Is there a Check Cashing company in the city where you live?

Your only option is cashing it at your bank. Which then, is going to cost you whatever amount you are currently overdrawn.... The next and only other option would be opening up a new bank account. But even then, if the check is for a high amount at all, they will more than likely place a hold on that check because of you being a new customer. I would ask the person who send it to you to give you a cashiers check, but as you said, that's not an option. So either take it to your bank, and lose part of it (if not all of it) or open a new bank account. =]
Good question I do agree with you. The women who do not tip have attitude problems.May be They are ghetto, loud that is why they do not tip. If any one regardless of race is on welfare or food stamps then they do not tip. It is also true that no one is forced to tip by law. I was once in a Thai resturarant I did not like the service so I did not tip. The waiter started screaming at me. Good thing he did not touch me otherwise I would have kicked his a**.
It's not a two party check if it is written to you. It's considered a two party check if it is written to someone else and they sign the back, and you want to cash it. A bank should cash it with proper pennsylvania if it's written to your name. (I worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier.)
