My husband is being deported back to Egypt and me and our 2 children are going to live with him. I was told it is easy for us to get citizenship since my husband is an Egyptian citizen. How long will it take me and our kids to get citizenship? How does the Egyptian government treat Americans in my position? Will I still have the rights with dual citizenship as I have in America? Will the government help me with business loans. What do Egyptian civilians think about Americans? How do they feel about American women? Sorry for all the questions but I love my husband very much and want to be beside him. On the other hand, I would like to know what I am getting myself into as well seeing as how I know nothing about Egyptian laws. I guess what i am asking is: Is Egypt a place that i will be happy living? I really don't like America anymore because I feel my own government has betrayed me and violated my human rights as well as my family's. i also feel my government is doing malicious things to the people in U.S. and outside of U.S. Is Egypt more peaceful? I really hope so. I know everyone hates Americans because of our government and the ignorant - racist people that follow it, but Americans do not have freedom of speech anymore and our constitution has been corrupted by loop holes. Not all of us are bad. Anyone have any advice or tips for me?
Bosha eat my sh8t okay? I do love my husband but there is nothing I can do for him at this point except wait for him to get deported. I have talked to all the best lawyers around. I am leaving all my friends and family and dragging my 2 toddlers to a whole other country I know nothing about to be with my husband. That should prove how much I love him and I don't need you to tell me otherwiseARSE. I see other wives in this situation staying in America and getting divorced so.....whatever. Excuse me for wanting to know about the country I am going to live in!
To answer your Qs: 1) You will get the resident ship immediately and you can choose (3 years resident ship or 5 years) I advise you to take 3 years as you do not need more 2) After the three years you will get the Egyptian Nationality ,, if your husband applied for you once you are there 3)You can have dual or more......etc Nationalities,, no problem 4)Business loan,,,, No unless you ,or your husband have a collateral,,,so no privilege for you regarding that matter, ( you will be treated like any loan applicant ).. 5) Egypt has 83 million persons,,, and they have lots of problems to think about someone,, because of his/her nationality,,, you will be one more person to the population,,, No one will care that much about your Nationality...there are 10000's people having the same case like you,, and they are fine 6) Are you going to like Egypt? well that depends on you,, Of course life seems to be difficult there,,, but in fact it is easier( in my opinion),,, most of the Americans I know in Egypt- like Egypt,, and in fact they cry when they leave it,,, It can be difficult like anyplace else if your economic statuss is not good (which is very normal in any place else) 7) While the educated Egyptians are not fond of the American's policy especially in Bush''s days... I think most of the Egyptians do not hate the Americans,,, a big part of them do not care about them,,and they do not care that much of the Nationalities of other people living in Egypt.. 8) You do not need any type of immuniztion before flying to Egypt,,, ---------- Now you can understand why some Egyptians do not like Americans ,,Some Americans are suffering from a fake superiority complex based on ignorance seriously,,, they have Narcissistic personality disorder: ,,Schizotypal personality disorder:OR BOTH, That is why you will find people all over the world dislike these kind of creatures even the closest allies to the Americans in Europe...ufff @ Do not listen to ignorants saying you need immunization over there? What kind of immunization in her beautiful mind, you do need?? to the answerer below I say the term third world country is old and stupid,, it is an old political term to describe countries not with the soviets nor the Americans.... At least The Egyptians do not live on debt like most of the Americans (well you owe the world 13 trillion dollars),,,not 34 millions are living on food stamps, not 2 millions crooks who took money to buy houses and never return this Money back ,,, America is done and discovered now,,, lets say is bankrupted so please no Hollywood images anymore,,,GET REAL --------------- It takes only 3 Years to get nationality if you continue being a wife with your Egyptian husband (even if you are not in Egypt itself) --------------------------------------... Edit : To bad luck no,,,, The 3 years are counted after he applies for you to get the nationality,,, (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAY pennsylvania EGYPT DURING THAT TIME... as I understood you have children and they are of course Egyptians , they can get you even the resident ship.. (without your husband ,,,lol) ,, that is also is considered,,, Now the best thing to do,is to quickly apply for that,, They also study case by case,,, BTW : Bird flue/ Hepatitis C do not have any immunization to bad luck
Deported ? ? If he is deported from there because of terrorist activities, then do not follow him, but if it is another mild things , then it is ok to follow with him to Egypt. People are very nice Americans are good looked at, and you will feel home, All that with business Bank loans I thing that you have to forget about it. They will never help you or their own people in that matter. I would ask the US authorities if they will allow you double citizen chip than asking about the Egyptians, They will give you that once you have been there long enough to get one , I think it is about 7 years. As for the kids, they are automatically entitled to the Egyptian citizen chip because daddy is
Omg you are going to LOVE it there. they effing love americans...you will walk down the street and be treated like madonna, seriously. just keep an open mind, be a very warm person. egyptians arent snobby and cant stand a snob...they take offense to it big time and thats the last thing u wanna do there. hebatitus C and bird flu is a big issue over there right now so ask your doctors about any immunizations you may need. also, dont drink the water right away. the nile is a total mess.
"Immunizations"!!!!! your husband is being deported and u ask about immunizations??? who cares in the first place about your nationality??? well, Egyptians are nice, very down to earth and anything but racists. I think that you are not used to that. And you say that you love your husband. Good for him,
YES you do need immunisations for sure! The hygiene in egypt is very bad compared to the united states as you would expect from any third world country. People in egypt are very friendly but they will try to con you out of your money. The are also a lot of perverts there and you will get a lot of guys flirting with you if your are blonde blue eyes. If you don't dress respectable you will get a lot of guys gurgling at you. But overall egypt is a great country to live in, it has a variety of everything. I describe egypt with one word- alive! I cant explain it but when u come back to a western country after visiting egypt u think everybody is dead here cuz it's so boring! Life is interesting over there and it will probably be an experience you will never forget. good luck. personally I would love to live in egypt
People aren't treated like here in america but if they want money, they'll do anything you want just for a penny
