I want to write an opinion editorial about McDonalds and where they're going wrong. If you would like to share your thoughts or experiences please leave a comment, and I will take it into consideration. It will be published on Yahoo! so if you want to be anonymous please let me know. Include information on McDonalds you have visited (what State/city/time of day/etc.) If you have any valuable research links about their gross sales, profits, customer service, or surveys please include them in your comments! Thanks for the help.
I'm looking for information on customer service like incorrect orders, long lines at the drive-thru,incorrect change when paying with cash, Menu items that you wish would return permanently, thoughts about their McCafe drinks, inability to take cash or credit during specific times, hours of operation, late night menu suggestions/comments, products not as advertised, bad experiences, rude or incompetent employees, management issues, etc. I'm not looking for information on what their food is made of (most people know it is crap anyway).
My experience is some things have improved over the years, and some have gotten worse. They do have more health options on their menu. I love the wraps- especially southwest chicken wraps. The quality of service is better for inside dining than drive thru- in general, although wait time is slightly longer Lines are never very long at the McDonald's I go to in Richmond, Virginia area. The service is adequate at most of them. I have only experienced lack of good service at one of them. I think Chic-Fil-A is a much better fast food restaurant overall. McDonald's Happy Meals are not as good as they used to be and the apple pies are horrible these days.
I love how you make it seem that the "customer is always right" so not true. The employees are human just like at any other business. We make mistakes and Ive had some extremely rude customers. Some people are so disrespectful. I mean come on, its mcdonalds and they expect service of a 5 star restaurant. HA! you get what you pay for, $1 for garbage and then try to make some scene to get it free
I live in Sarasota, minnesota When I go there (Which is rare), I usually go during lunch McDonalds is certainly very bad for you. McDonalds themselves know that and they have done a lot of improvements with bringing healthier things into the menus. I'm not going to comment on their buildings, whether they're dirty or clean because I've been to dirty and clean ones. So I would say that would be a neutral for me. They have nice workers. They should probably clean their playgrounds more often. And Ronald McDonald is a terrible mascot for the company, because many kids are afraid of clowns.
I think rather than focusing on what they are doing wrong, perhaps focus on what they are doing right. Surely a business with over 34,000 locations in 118 countries worldwide can't be that bad. Over 1.8 million people work for McDonalds and many famous people started their careers at McDonald's. I think Jay Leno, Rachel McAdams, Sharon Stone and James Franco would all agree that McDonald's helped them get to where they are today.
Well im in the ky area i go to etown or radcliff or munfordville areas. i go to many different ones the etown ones are pretty decent with being nice. if u have an issue with food they will replace it. leitcfield ky is not the best one. they always not in the best mood. they everytime u have a coupon have to look at it a million times and scan it ask a manager if its real etc. munfordville is good service radcliff is pretty good serive as well. all mcds has about the same taste to me. not the best but ok if ur on the go and need a quick meal
Most of there food is very good and comes fast. The prices are crazy cheap to you can get a mcdouble, mcchicken, and a soda for 3 bucks. I think it is a top 5 fast food restaurant.
Mc D's is one of the only fast food places without any vegetarian choices. We do not eat there. We stopped on the road in Alabama to eat there a few years back and the ketchup dispenser was caked with dirt and flies. We walked out.
I have to say Mcdonalds food tastes good until you learn how they make it. The meat may look warm and fresh, but its actually just a bunch of frozen patties that are heated up a bit. They have ammonium hydroxide in their burgers, also known as "Pink Slime." This chemical is also used in fertilizer and cleaning products. McDonald's has claimed to discontinue this process, but we can never know for sure. It also claims to use 100% pure beef, but "pure" could mean anything, really.
I like their food, but I'm pretty sure it's made of gross processed crap that I'm not aware of.
Love McDonalds there is no better fine dining experience.
